Step 7

Reached Step 7 today with my 0.50 HRK coin find. Also found 1 cell phone and couldn't found it's owner.

Step 6

Last week I found first banknote for my Found Assets Project! It put me right at the end of Step 6. Less then 3 HRK and Step 6 is completed.

First 2.00 HRK Coin

Today I found a first coin of 2.00 HRK. Total find for today was 2.90 HRK, which allowed me to reach Step 4.

Hoard of Coins

Today I found a nice little hoard of coins with 16 coins in total. There were 15 coins of 0.20 HRK and 1 coin of 0.10 HRK. Total value of 3.10 HRK. Additionally, I found single coin of 0.50 HRK, which makes today's total of 3.60 HRK. Today's find puts me just at the top of Step 3. :)

New Doubling Project

After some pause from the world of doubling, today I started my new doubling project...

I will play my new doubling project by the following rules:

Rule 1. You must start this project from absolutely nothing.
Rule 2. Finding assets is the only activity that is allowed in this project.
Rule 3. You are not allowed to process found assets in any way, you can only sell them as you find them.
Rule 4. You are allowed to add your labor and your equipment when searching for assets.
Rule 5. If your current step results in more than doubling, then you must carry the surplus onto the next step.
Rule 6. You are not allowed to spend one cent of the project's money.
Rule 7. You must keep a diary of events.

Rules and Steps

Since my yesterday's Declaration I decided to switch back to old Rules and old Steps. So here are my Rules and Steps...

Rule 1. You must find the first coin. You must not use your own money.
Rule 2. You must use only the stake money during the current doubling attempt.
Rule 3. During the first fifteen steps you must use the actual coins and notes gained in the preceding step.
Rule 4. If your current step results in more than doubling, then you must carry the surplus onto the next step.
Rule 5. If your current action results in less than doubling, then you may use as much of the original stake and profit to complete this step.
Rule 6. You must keep a diary of events.
Rule 7. Don't worry about how you are going to manage future doublings. Concentrate only on the current doubling.
Rule 8. You're not allowed to spend one cent of the money (apart from as a stake) until you complete all steps. Then it's all yours.
Rule 9. You must not divert money into the system which you would have got anyway had you not been doing the system.
Rule 10. You must use only the stake money, and not 'stolen' or 'hidden' resources.
Rule 11. If you 'fail' on a step, you must drop down the 'snake' until you arrive at the step represented by your remaining money - and start again from that step.
Rule 12. You are allowed to add your labor.
Rule 13. Use the stake money to create a value which you can sell for more.

Step 11 Completed!

Today I went to the bank to exchange euro coins I found for DYWTAMP for HRK (official currency of DYWTAMP). I got 29.50 HRK for 4.10 EUR. That put me well into Step 12. I started to work on plans for Step 12. It is strange how our plans and decisions work for us. Since I made a declaration yesterday that I will give my best to complete Step 12 for half less time than I needed for Step 11, I immediately started to think more creatively about the ways to complete Step 12. Without my declaration I would probably just continue to look for lost money. This way I will try to find something creative to speed up my progress in Step 12.
