Step 19 - Items for sale added

Added some CDs and books that I plan to sell on online auctions or offline. Trading in my forex account started again after holiday brake. Money market fund shows continuing growth. I will probably move some funds tomorrow from money market fund so that I can pay part of credit card debt that is due in about week. This part of debt occurred when I fund my forex account with my credit card. USD continues to go down and that affects My Doubling Adventure Net Worth as significant portion of assets are denominated in USD.

Step 19 - New Year

Happy New Year! :)


This is the second year of My Doubling Adventure. It all started on January 2007. I feel like I made a full circle. Although it may not seem like some achievement I'm happy because I stayed active and keep on with this project. That alone makes me happy.

I hope I will manage to complete several steps in 2008. I would be personally happy if I would manage to build Net Worth of My Doubling Adventure just above 100,000 HRK in this year. Anything beyond that will be pure bonus and pure pleasure.

Step 19 - Last post in 2007

This is my last post in 2007. This year I started My Doubling Adventure back in January. Soon it will be 1st anniversary of this project. I'm satisfied with the progress. Hope 2008 will be even better than 2007. I made some nice investments that have potential to build net worth of this project considerably. But we will see as high yield goes with high risk.

Anyway my last addition to portfolio is investment in one Private Investment Program that deals with stock options trading. I have high hopes for this investment.

Step 19 - Quick update

Here is just a quick update on the current state of my doubling Net Worth. Although there is no much changes since last update, Net Worth went down. The main reason for this is the lower value of USD, and significant part of my Doubling Assets are denominated in USD. I expect that when trading takes off at the beginning of January eventual profits from forex trading will offset the negative effect of weakening US dollar.

Step 19 - Progress report

Here is a quick update on the current state of My Doubling Adventure's progress. Loss that I reported in my last post is almost completely recovered. There will be no trading during the holidays so further results are to be expected in January. I invested small amount of my cash in one online high yield / high risk investment. Will see how it will end up. There is a very high chance of losing complete investment, but return is rather high so I consider it to be worth taking a risk for small amount of overall wealth of this project.

I'm thinking to add more to my forex trading account or to one another online high yield investment. Will think about it and make a decision in a next few days.

Step 19 - Forex trading continues

Currently, my forex account has a small drawdown of 3.41%. This includes both closed positions and still floating positions.

Cash reserves increased mainly due to doubling income tax. I was thinking to add more to my forex trading account, but maybe I will try to find some other investment or business opportunity. Will decide in the near future.
