Step 18 - Last Post For This Month

This is probably last post for this month. Tomorrow I travel on one small, nice Croatian island for my summer vacation, for two weeks. So there will be no posts for two weeks. When I come back I will update on any progress I made on my vacation. Hope there will be at least some nice opportunities for savings and rounding up. Anything that increases My Doubling Adventure net worth counts.

Today I deposited check from my last casino deal to my bank account. I also made a personal loan to myself, with 10% interest. I need it just to bridge my temporary liquidity gap. Instead of borrowing from credit cards I borrow from My Doubling Adventure. I rather pay interest to My Doubling Adventure (to myself actually), than to some financial institution. It's a win-win deal for me.

Freedom Seekers Getaway Club Team

The Getaway Club is a new opportunity that I added to My Doubling Adventure portfolio. Any income I generate from this opportunity will go directly to My Doubling Adventure assets.

So what is the Getaway Club?

The Getaway Club is a new revolving matrix that uses 4 - 2x2 matrices making you over $12,250 once you have cycled all 4 boards. Since they are 2x2’s, there are only 4 positions at the bottom needed to fill your board and move you up the matrix.

It has a dual compensation plan! Meaning they pay two ways.

First, each time you cycle out of a board, you are paid.
Bronze pays $50, Silver pays $200 (you are in profit already at this stage), Gold pays $2,000, AND Platinum pays $10,000.

Once you get to Platinum, you stay on the Platinum boards and can cycle over and over for $10,000!

Second, you are paid bonuses each time anyone on your team under you cycles a board, up to 5 levels deep. Here is how that works out:

Members Sponsored By You, 5% - Bronze = $2.50, Silver = $10, Gold = $100 and Platinum = $500
Members Sponsored By Your 1st Level, 4% - Bronze = $2.00, Silver = $8, Gold = $80 and Platinum = $400
Members Sponsored By Your 2nd Level, 3% - Bronze = $1.50, Silver = $6, Gold = $60 and Platinum = $300
Members Sponsored By Your 3rd Level, 2% - Bronze = $1.00, Silver = $4, Gold = $40 and Platinum = $200
Members Sponsored By Your 4th Level, 1% - Bronze = $0.50, Silver = $2, Gold = $20 and Platinum = $100

I am a member of a great team called Freedom Seekers. This team created a Next In Line (NIL) team build and really help each and every member to succeed in this business. If you are interested to learn more about this opportunity and especially this team build effort please visit this web site...

Pingo - The Last Calling Card You'll Ever Need

Pingo calling cards represents a great way to save some big and serious money on your long distance phone calls. I spent some time browsing their website and I must admit I was pretty much amazed when I saw the rates they are offering with their Cheap Prepaid Phone Card. With Pingo International Phone Card, International Phone Calls can easily become opportunities to make some serious savings and to even add those savings to your doubling stake. And just for signing up for their cheap phone card you will get $5 USD in free calls, and that is up to 4 hours of free calls just for signing up!

You can also save up to 90% on your international cell phone calls. I must say that I see some serious potential here for building our doubling stakes, as every doubler who decide to use Pingo Global Phone Card, will make some serious and big money savings, and those savings could be added to doubling stake. In addition to some really great savings, Pingo offers some nice earning opportunities as well. Pingo has a great affiliate program that pays $15 for each new customer you refer.

Another cool way to earn with Pingo is the new promotion that Pingo calls "$5 Usermercial". It's a great and creative way to earn some money by making usermercial video. What it is all about? Well, Pingo.com is working with Qoof.com to pay $5 USD to the first 250 Pingo usermercial videos posted! Now that sounds like a fun and great way to add some money to your doubling stake.

One very useful and cool tool is Pingo’s RateWatcher which saves you from all the hassles of browsing and digging through all the different rates in search for the best one. RateWatcher actively monitors changing long distance costs around the world looking for opportunities for Pingo to bring you lower international calling rates. So, this one little tool is always out there, on the look-out to save you even more money.

After reviewing their offers it becomes clear to me why Pingo Phone Cards represents such great value and why they are called “the last calling card you’ll ever need”.

Added some plastic bottles to my Inventory. I recalculated the value of my assets denominated in foreign currencies.

Knowing Your Net Worth Is Essential

By Allen N. Jones
Merrill Lynch

Applying for a mortgage? Writing a will? Seeking financial aid for college? Or just looking to build your wealth? No matter what your financial circumstances or goals, you can't plan for tomorrow until you know where you stand today.

The first step of any good financial plan involves calculating your net worth. Much like a business owner, you need to determine the total value of your assets (what you own), minus your liabilities (what you owe). In effect, you must create a personal balance sheet.

A Three-Step Process
A net worth statement helps you identify the value and efficiency of your assets and liabilities. It helps you determine whether the majority of your assets are growing in value or losing value. You'll also see how liquid your assets are, or how easily you could convert your assets into cash. Calculating your net worth can be accomplished in three steps:

Step 1: Add up your assets. Anything you own can be considered part of your total assets. Here are things to consider:

Cash reserves. This is any money that can be accessed on short notice, such as checking and savings accounts; short-term investments such as money market accounts, certificates of deposit (CDs), and Treasury bills.

Investments. Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, fife insurance, annuities, employer-sponsored retirement plans and other employee benefits like deferred compensation plans or stock options are all investments.

Personal property. Possessions such as jewelry, furs, wine and electronic equipment are all part of your assets. Some assets, like artwork, antiques or a stamp collection, may appreciate in value, while others, like cars and boats, depreciate in value over time.

Real estate. Calculate the current market value your primary residence and any vacation homes or investment properties.

Miscellaneous. This could include a trust fund or equity ownership in a business.

Step 2: Tally your liabilities. Liabilities are what you owe both short and long-term. Here are some common liabilities:

Mortgages. This is the single greatest liability that many people have.

Other secured debt. Auto, boat and business loans are all forms of secured or collateralized debt. Since the lender may sell the items to recoup any losses from defaulted loans, these loans are less risky than unsecured loans; therefore, they typically have lower interest rates.

Unsecured debt. While some unsecured low-interest loans are offered for special purposes like paying education expenses or starting a business, unsecured debt is generally very costly. For many people, credit cards represent their greatest source of unsecured debt.

Step 3: Subtract your liabilities from your assets. If your assets are larger than your liabilities, you have a positive net worth. If your liabilities are larger than your assets, you have a negative net worth. In either case, seeing where you stand will help you to work toward a better financial picture.

Your Next Step. Through the process of calculating their net worth, people often find that they're worth more than they thought. Whether you're worth more or less than expected, you can continue to find opportunities to better manage the potential growth of your net worth.

If you have considerably more in assets than in liabilities, take a closer look at the type of assets you own. Are they increasing or decreasing in value? For example, assets such as the cash in your wallet actually lose value as the cost of living increases. Investing in assets that have the potential to grow over time will help you build your net worth.

If, after you have made your calculations, you find you are worth less than you had expected, it may be time to reassess your money management strategies. Too many people concentrate on accumulating assets, and not enough on managing their liabilities. It's important to manage both sides of your balance sheet.

To increase your assets by saving more, begin by looking at your sources of income and your expenses. There are more ways to increase your net worth than simply cutting back on dinners out and expensive vacations. Finding ways to lower your taxes and restructure your debt can dramatically increase your cash flow. For example, if you carry a balance on your credit cards, research different cards to make sure you're paying the lowest interest rates available. Or consider consolidating credit card debt with a home equity loan or line of credit, which may offer a lower interest rate and give you tax deductions for interest payments.

Take a second look at your long-term debts. Refinancing your mortgage, especially at today's low interest rates, could free up cash each month. And reconsider your car loan. You may be better off making car payments by-taking out a home equity loan.

These steps can help you free up income that may be directed toward saving rather than expenses. An automated investment program is an excellent way of disciplining yourself into building your investment asset base and net worth.

Protecting Your Worth
Take steps to protect the assets you've worked so hard to earn. Consider estate-planning issues, particularly if you're older. By preparing a formal plan that takes into consideration the value of your estate and your tax liability, you can help to protect and preserve your net worth for your intended heirs.

Think about the allocation of your retirement assets. If your retirement accounts have been invested in stocks, you may find that the tremendous stock market gains of the past few years have enriched your account and stocks now account for a greater percentage of your assets than you realized. This can present risks you were unaware you were facing.

Reassess Your Worth
Once you have calculated your net worth and readjusted your financial plan, it's tempting to file it away and not look at it again. But your net worth is a moving target. It's important to reassess where you stand periodically to reflect changes in your personal circumstances, such as buying a house or receiving an inheritance. By tracking your progress, you can develop a working plan that will ultimately allow you to reach your financial goals.

Step 18 - part 10

Yesterday I received check from my 3rd casino deal. Will probably went to my bank on Friday to cash it. I paid auction fees today for July, so my Liabilities went down. Added 430 HRK I received as my daily allowance from my recent 4-day business trip. I didn't spent almost nothing on my trips so that is newly earned money for My Doubling Adventure. I delivered some items I sold via auction today and received cash. All that affected my doubling balance sheet... cash went up, and Accounts receivable went down.

I have two more days to work before I go to summer holidays. Hardly wait. Next week I go to one nice Croatian island for my summer vacation. Hardly wait. :)

The Doubler's Den

Doubling is a very interesting concept. I started with doubling back in January. Suprisingly I found lots of people online doing the same thing, doubling from nothing to a million. I still enjoy reading other doubling blogs. But, thanks to Arkad, The Richest Man in Atherstone, reading other doublers blogs is not the only way we doublers can learn about each other. Back in February Arkad started The Doubler's Den, a forum based community for doublers. The Doubler's Den is an excellent place to meet other doublers, to learn about their doubling adventures and to get ideas on how to complete your current step and go forward in your doubling journey. One can find lots of support in The Doubler's Den from other doublers. There are some very interesting subforums at the The Doubler's Den, like Doubling Ideas and Doubling Experiences where you really can get some cool ideas to increase your doubling stake and where you can learn on experiences of other doublers. I find it very educational and inspirational. Other interesting parts of The Doubler's Den are subforums Buying & Selling and Advertisements where you can post if you have something you would like to buy or sell to other doublers or if you want to promote something that can be of interest to other doublers. It can be really cool marketplace.

So, if you have any interest in doubling and want to meet other doublers The Doubler's Den is the right place to be. Visit The Doubler's Den and join the growing community of doublers.

Step 18 - part 9

I decided to go for my 4th casino deal. Just have to find new casino with good bonus policy. Manage to sell one of my own Haiku books for 75 HRK. The business deal that I invested in will have event on 4th and 5th of August. The expected return should be between 20% and 25% for this event.

As it can be seen I decided to take part in PayPerPost. It seems really great opportunity to increase my doubling stake. Up till now I only used Adsense for monetization of this blog. Hope PayPerPost will prove to be great addition.

I Signed Up For PayPerPost

Since My Doubling Adventure blog is older than 90 days I decided to apply for PayPerPost membership. And guess what... I got approved! And now I am official member of PayPerPost or as they call their bloggers I become Postie. I must say I'm very happy for that. Becoming a member of PayPerPost gave me an opportunity to browse through their website and to learn more about this company. I must admit that I really like the way they organize this whole business. They seem very dedicated to their company and to both the bloggers and the advertisers. Those guys have a vision and it seems to me that great future waits this company and all who take part in their business model. The most interesting is that PayPerPost just recently turns one year of operation. Can you imagine how PayPerPost will look for two, three or five years? It's really exciting. Check them out here...

blog network

I'm sure you will be amazed with this opportunity. I surely am amazed and excited with the possibility PayPerPost can add to My Doubling Adventure. I see some serious income potential in participating in PayPerPost Opportunities as Postie. I plan to add all income I generate as PayPerPost's Postie straight in My Doubling Adventure assets. Soon I will probably add separate item in My Doubling Adventure's balance sheet to indicate this new kind of asset... balance in PayPerPost. Check them out...

Step 18 - part 8

I used 200 USD that My Doubling Adventure holds in my foreign currency account to purchase 2 investment units for private investment deal I already invested in. My Doubling Adventure project purchased those 2 investment units from me, as I invested in this deal before with my other non-doubling funds. I also write off 70 HRK of debt that My Doubling Adventure project owed for depositing in casino account via my debit card.

Since Croatian kuna went up against all major currencies, some of my assets that are denominated in EUR, USD or GBP actually went down in value, so I changed their values in the balance sheet according to the current exchange rates.

Step 18 - part 2

Today I cashed bank draft. Currently, the amount cashed (300.50 USD) is in my foreign currency account. Cost of cashing the bank draft it was 57.50 HRK. I expected higher cost, and was very nicely surprised. I pay the fee from My Doubling Adventure's cash balance. I plan to withdraw deposited funds tomorrow in my local currency.

Also, today I delivered 6 used books to a customer that bought them via auction site. I got 150 HRK for them.

Yesterday I opened casino account at one new casino. I deposited 100 EUR and got 25 EUR bonus. Since I don't have enough cash currently in My Doubling Adventure and since I pay it with my debit card I accounted this transaction as taking a loan from myself. I also increased My Doubling Adventure's assets for the same amount (Casino accounts).

I added some additional items to my inventory.... one used book and 4 packages of office paper, and posted them on the auction site.

And here is my updated balance sheet...

Assets

Cash 300.00
Foreign currency 1,607.68

Step 18

Got bank draft for 300.50 USD today from first casino I played. I will take it to my bank tomorrow or day after tomorrow to cash it out. Now I'm ready to open account in new casino in order to make some additional profits.

As I have my own non-doubling capital invested in the private deal in Philippines, as well as 300 USD of my doubling capital, I decided to purchase additional 100 USD with my doubling capital from my non-doubling balance. That transaction increased Business Loan account in My Doubling Adventure's balance sheet.

Here is My Doubling Adventure's current balance sheet...

Step 17 - part 7

I added some additional books to my doubling inventory. I count that each book has a value of 10 HRK and accounted for that value my Inventory. After that, I sold 7 books on online auction, and for one book the auction is still going on. In total, I moved 8 books from Inventory to Accounts receivable. I sold one book for 20 HRK, 6 for 25 HRK and one is currently at 22 HRK price (the one with auction still going on). I also earned 52 HRK as interest because I borrowed from My Doubling Adventure. We were shopping at the mall and one store didn't have POS terminal and accepted only cash. So I borrowed from My Doubling Adventure and pay it back latter with 10% interest. Nice amount was also added as doubling income tax.

Step 17 - part 6

Today I completed transaction and got 25 HRK for book I sold via auction site. I added 140 HRK to my doubling project as doubling income tax. Still didn't have time to go to the ATM to pick it up in cash, but I issue an IOU to my doubling project. Also, I borrowed some change from my doubling project and issued IOUs for that with interest (10% minimum). In addition, I started to collect plastic bottles. I can get 0.50 HRK for each plastic bottle. Currently I have 5 bottles, and I added their value under Inventory in my balance sheet.

Assets

Cash 373.00
Incoming Checks 3,834.19
Business Loan 1,608.00
Inventory 270.13
IOUs 153.00

Total assets 6,238.32

Liabilities

Total liabilities 0.00

Net worth 6,238.32

So, new net worth of My Doubling Adventure is 6,238.32 HRK.

.

Step 17 - part 5

I will try to make another change to My Doubling Adventure. I will make a shift of my focus from capital to wealth or net worth. Net Worth is calculated by the following formula:

Assets – Liabilities = Net Worth

Therefore, I will pay attention to Assets and Liabilities of My Doubling Adventure project in order to track Net Worth of the Project. The goal is to double Net Worth or Wealth in each Step of the Plan.

So, here is the first balance sheet for My Doubling Adventure....

Assets

Cash 351.95
Incoming Checks 3,834.19
Business Loan 1,608.00
Inventory 267.63
Accounts receivable 25.00

Total assets 6,086.77

Liabilities

Total liabilities 0.00

Net worth 6,086.77

Net Worth is 6,086.77 HRK. I counted incoming checks from my casino ventures as my assets. Also, I added to my assets 4 books that are currently on auction. I counted them as 10 HRK per book, even my starting bid at the auction is 25 HRK. If I don't sell them on auction I will try to sell them to used books dealer. I also added accounts receivable as form of asset. I manage to sell one of the initial 5 books on the auction for 25 HRK. Still didn't completed transaction with the buyer, but will do in the next few days, and it seems to me it's correct to include that fact in balance sheet under accounts receivable.

So, to sum up.... the new mission of My Doubling Adventure is to Build Wealth. And Wealth = Net Worth.
